Ch7 06
Thank Goodness Magnus saved Lark from that ‘crazy’ Elf! It’s not like he completely avoided the subject and just moved on to push one of Lark’s other buttons.
Poor Has was just eating the bread and watching this soap opera of a family unfold. So engrossed in the father/son dispute, that she forgot that this soap opera is an interactive one.
The Order of the Nine loses more Guardians to bread than they’d care to admit.
It’s been a couple of years since I commented, but I just wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying My Hero!
Is this Gurtie’s definition of pure? Or the more meta version?
You could say that Hass was unbready for the soap opera to come back at her.
+50 Lark points for that pun
On a more serious note, it’s good that the curse isn’t something that can go about breaking up happy couples. It does raise questions about Magnus and Melinda, though – is there a true love there, or just the curse in action? Is there a way they can tell the difference?
Different curse
TPFH says: Shouldn’t that be “a pure heart” rather than “pure a heart” in the last panel? Shouldn’t that be “Poor Hass” instead of “Poor Has” in the creators’ comments?
Pure a heart is definitely a typo, but you did know that Poor Has has a full name? Hasera. No double ess.
lol corrected that little typo
Last panel. That’s very much all of our faces right now, isn’t it.
I’m having a bit of a Young Frankenstein moment since the penultimate panel.
“pure a heart” or “a pure heart”?
took the words right out of my mouth
Love panels 3 and 5! Especially 5: eat that popcorn, Hasera!
Choking hazard or not, Melinda knows how to conjure some very tasty bread.
Do you think the order has bread insurance? That would be an amusing conversation with an insurance agent…”I’m an insurance agent. I will insure literally ANYTHING so long as you pay me. But bread? Are you sure you’re not inebriated?” Maybe it’s funnier in my head, but I would love to see the end result of that on paper. The find print would get intense. š
Be careful who you get the hind-lick from Has
…All of the above?
This rye humor of him trying to prove Hasera not suitable is really sourdoughing her mood apparently.
(Pure) Hearts, don’t it?
… Why do I have the feeling they will interpret Has’ choking with bread as her being so awestruck by Magnus’ offer that she’s at a loss for words?
Because the Lark family is exactly like that?
Naaah, that can’t be it. No doubt they will realize what is happening immediately and discuss it in a mature and sensible way. Right after Magnus takes that celibacy vow he was planning to take for years. š
Sounds legit
